For most of us, the school year is started or is about to start. That means getting back into routine, and for some of us it means making a new routine. Getting back into school routine might be hard, and I know for me it will not be easy. Today I want to share some things that I think could make school easier.
#1: Get up on time
Getting up on time or early will allow you to have enough time to prepare in the morning. If you like doing your hair and make-up, you should get up earlier, that way you have enough time to do what is essential, such as showering, and eating breakfast. Getting up on time is essential to having a good school year.
#2: Go to sleep early
If you go to sleep early, you will be able to get up earlier. Going to sleep early or at least on time will improve your mood, and getting enough sleep is healthy. Too little sleep makes you tired and crabby. Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise. It is true for the most part. I don’t know about wealthy, but healthy and wise, sure. The basic fact, go to sleep on time, get up on time.
#3: Make a schedule
It is awful when you forget important things. It doesn’t make you happy when you forgot that you had to do things. Making a schedule can help to keep your day organized. Planning ahead is a great thing to do, and it can help you to not be so busy and stressed. I find that if I know what to expect for a day it can help my day to go smoother and easier. Making a schedule can also help you to find time to rest and relax.
#4: Keep your things organized
It will make life easier if you stay organized. It is hard when you can’t find the right shirt, or when your homework is missing. It can help if you have a specific spot where you keep your things, and keep them there neatly. Maybe you have to invest in things to help you stay organized, but it will be worth it in the long run.
#5: Do your homework and study
Do your homework on time, it will help you to have better grades. Instead of watching that movie, or texting your friends, get your homework done. And don’t just get it done, do it right away, don’t put it off. Studying can also help to get good grades. Admit it, you struggle in at least one subject; well maybe studying can help you to do better in that class.
#6: Be optimistic
It can be hard, but it will help if you try to look to the bright side. Try to think positive thoughts about everything. Instead of thinking, “Oh, I’m going to fail this test”, think, “I will do the best I can.” Instead of saying, “I hate math, I don’t care, I’m doing terrible”, say, “I will try to enjoy math, I want to get good grades, I will do fine.” You can see the difference, and if you keep thinking good thoughts your attitude and mood will improve.
#7: Find good friends
Sometimes it can be hard to find a good group of friends. You should try to find good friends, people whom you can trust. Each of your friends should be someone who you trust and someone who supports you. If you have a group of good friends you will enjoy your school year more. Having someone you trust who is your age or close to it is a good thing. Your friends should be people who support and love you for who you are. In return, you should be a good friend.
It think that ultimately these things can help your school year go better. Even the most happy person has bad days, you will too. But I think that if you have a good routine and schedule you will have a happier school year. Do what you can to make the year go better!
