The Liebster Award

Welcome welcome welcome!

How are you today? I hope that you are doing well!

Megan @ Not So Perfect nominated me to do the Liebster Award! Now, I have done this award before, but that was like, decades ago, so I am doing it again. Plus, it’s different questions this time. 😉

Thanks Megan for the nomination! Please be sure to check out her blog!

by the way, this image is much more beautiful than the other one.

Here are the rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you, include a link to their blog, and add the Liebster Award badge to your blog and/or post.
  2. Next answer the eleven questions from the person who nominated you.
  3. Give eleven random facts about yourself.
  4. Nominate 5-11 fellow bloggers with less than 200 followers.
  5. Notify your nominees that you nominated them for the Liebster Award.
  6. Last, but certainly not least, ask your nominees eleven questions.

Hmmm. Seems different than last time. Perhaps we have been playing telephone for too long?

Here are the questions from Megan. My answers will be in BOLD (or BLOOD like I accidentally typed.)

  1. To start us off… how are you doing today? See? Blood. JK I’m doing fine despite what this post may make it seem like.
  2. What is your favourite book (besides the Bible, of course)? Of course I am asked this question. Alas, I cannot choose. Would you like me to make a whole post dedicated to my favorite books?
  3. How did you begin your blogging journey? That is actually a very good question. It started with my cousin. (blame her). She made a blog, and when I saw how interesting it was, I wanted to copy her of course, so I did. I started a horrific little blog on Blogger and posted some things there. Then I felt inspired to started a Faith Based blog and I moved to wordpress. I’m glad I did. Because that is where I am now.
  4. If you could visit one event in history, what would it be? ONE EVENT? Only one? Well, I guess… the signing of the Declaration of Independence mostly cause I’m reading about that in history.
  5. What’s your favourite season and what do you like about it? I love all the seasons for different reasons.
  6. Do you play any instruments? If you don’t, what would you play if you could play anything? Wellllll….. I play a little bit of piano and guitar. If I could, I would play violin.
  7. What is your favourite verse or passage of scripture, and why? I like Matthew 6:1-34.
  8. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and who would you go with? Oh. I’ve always wanted to go to Paris. BUT I also want to travel around the US more. I’d go with my family.
  9. What motivates you? To do what? Many things motivate me depending on what the topic is.
  10. Do you have a favourite quote or saying? Nope. I’ve seen a few that I like, but I can’t remember any specific ones.
  11. And a classic to finish off… if you were stranded on a desert island and could only have three things with you (other than food, water, clothes) what would you take? Okay, okay.. I’d have a journal so I could write it all down, a survival book, and someone with me… or maybe a knife….

Whew! That was a lot!

Now for the 11 facts.

  1. I have 4 younger siblings
  2. I am learning Spanish

  1. Eeeek! Okay first of all, loved your answers and questions! I’m still debating if I should do this award since I did it recently, but you made me want to answer Megan’s questions!!
Second and the reason for the squeals. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Mysterious Benedict Society!!! So good!!! I’ve actually only read the first book, but I really want to read the other ones. Have you read all of them?
Anyways sorry for the rant. I saw that and was like “Yessssssss!!!!!” Okay I’ll stop now. 😆😂

Finally!! Someone else has actually read it! I love it, too! I’m working on reading the rest of the series. I’m halfway through book two, and I love it…. I won’t spoil it for you, though!

    1. Yay!!! I’ll try to make one!
Is is hard to teach yourself? I’ve heard people say that it is next to impossible. I’ve always admired Violin… but I haven’t had the chance to learn it myself.
      Yes! Spanish is fun!

      1. Well, it’s not the easiest to learn violin by teaching yourself, but if it’s something you really want to do, it can be done! I’m not the best yet, but I’m getting better. There’s several great Youtubers out there to learn from, which is how I’m teaching myself.

    1. Yes please!! I can also blame you for getting me into The Mysterious Benedict Society. YOU are the one who suggested I read it, lol. I just finished book three, and I’m in love with the series!

  4. I am extremely curious as to why you don’t want people calling you shy 😂 but honestly, i kinda get it, I hate it when people do that to me too. Your answers were so like broad and short, it’s actually a mood. I loved how straight-forward you were :)) Love your hair by the way (in your profile pic)

    1. Well, I don’t really know. I guess when I was little I was always told how shy I was, and for some reason I didn’t appreciate that. lol. Now when people call me shy, it makes me upset because I’m not really shy. I’m quiet, but not shy. If I don’t have something to say, I don’t say it, which I don’t think makes me shy. I’m not like, afraid of people, I just don’t ALWAYS talk to them.
      Thanks!

      1. Oooh gotchu, that’s definitely something that a lot of us do nowadays, jumping to conclusions that someone is “shy” just because they don’t talk. Sometimes I think that way about quiet people too, but I’ll work on changing that mindset from now on. Hope you have/had a lovely day 😚
